the stories that happened yesterday
Second Day...
Reached school early with an extra large bag filled to the brim with camping stuff and a bulky sleeping bag.We were to stay over night that day.We were told of where our bunks were and were supposed to unpack and clear all the tables and chairs off to the sides of the dorms.The boys were to be squashed in 1 dorm while the girls were seperated in to different dorms(there were more girls,muahahaha!)I unpacked at record time and brought down all the stuff that we were required to bring along as we were having the Amazing Race.We had to bring along our utensils(as we had to cook our own lunch on the way),umbrella,ez-link card,matches,solid fuel and mascots.I was in charge of carrying the two water bombs throughout the Amazing Race as I had an extra plastic bag and Agassi was to carry the flag mascot.Before the start of the race,each group was given a first-aid kit,$5 for buying raw food(maggie mee and bread were not allowed),2 mast tins and 2 stoves.There was a slight drizzle when the race began.Our first clue to our first destination was 'Go to a park and watch a parade'.It led us to Parkway Parade.At first our group was hesitating whether our decision was right or not,but we tried out despite our doubts.We waited for bus 31 as Lynn and Agassi went with Wei Yin to top-up their card.As we were waiting,2 groups passed us,group 2 the ChiHuaHuas and group 6 which is our allie.When Wei Yin,Lynn and Agassi came back,the bus arrived at exactly the same time.How lucky can we be,KP said.At the next stop,group 7 the Crazy 7 joined us in the bus ride.Everybody got a seat except for Min Hui so she asked KP to help her carry her stuff.Their first stop was to East Coast,so they dropped of before us.But alas!Min Hui forgot to take her stuff when she alight.The stuff was still in KP's hand.At first KP wanted to bring it back to them,but after that Anna,1 of Crazy 7's leader,said it was ok as they could share within the group.We reached PP soon after and completed the task with a flick of the finger.The next clue was 'School Event:10th March'.It fooled us abit but Agassi knew the answer.It was East Coast Park.We did not set of straight away since we were way ahead of time as we completed the tasks so quickly.We went to ColdStorage and did a little shopping(sort of).We were looking and admiring the scrumptious food as our saliva dripped to the floor(hey,only kidding).Since we could not have our lunch till 12pm,we decided not to buy the raw food first as we were lazy to carry the stuff all the way to ECP.Eyes looking at the food stuff in the supermarket longingly,we had to part with them...But before we left,Wei Yin and KP decided to use their own money to buy a huge packet of grapes for us to munch on through the journey which they werent supposed to be doing so.How great our leaders were!So we left ColdStorage happily munching on sweet,seedless grapes.As we were about to cross the road,we met Crazy 7 again.They were heading towards PP but they waved us goodbye before we left for the bus-stop.We were walking towards the stairs of the overhead-bridge with the leaders behind us when suddenly KP asked us why we did not take the escalator up instead.We just shrugged and went to the NOT MOVING escalator.Talk about bad luck!Everybody glared at KP who just simply pretended to look away.Good luck seems to follow us when we want to board buses.As we were climbing down the stairs of the overhead-bridge,bus 31 came.We ran like the wind and boarded the bus.Since we were not very sure of where to alight,I asked the bus driver to tell us when to alight.On the bus,the two mascots 'peed' on me again,making my pants wet.Why is it always me.On reaching the nearest ECP bus-stop,all of us alighted except for Wei Yin who went to the front of the bus and tapped her card on the reader,then tapped her card the second time at the back.Wee Ting told Wei Yin that it's ok if she just alighted from the bus,but she just smiled.Talk about integrity,Wei Yin sure has integrity.
Ok,I'm quite lazy to relate the whole story now...saved this draft since a long time ago.Want to know more,ask me or maybe you can continue guessing what will happen next,ha!
