Hehe...finally back to post about the recent events...

22nd Nov(last Wednesday)
Went ice-skating with Jocelyn,Fabian and YiTeng(Jocelyn's primary school friend).Before that,I went to the library to return my books.I FOUND THE SECOND SEQUEL TO ANNE OF GREEN GABLES!!!The sequel is called Anne of Avonlea.Nice book=)
Anyway,back to the topic,I thought I would be late(as usual),turned out I am the earliest!Yay me!I was supposed to meet Fabian first and then wait for YiTeng's parents to pick us up along with YiTeng and Jocelyn.[Fabian:YOU WERE LATE FOR 9 MINS!!!I DON'T CARE!!!]
In the car,all 4 of us were cramed in the backseat.Had difficulty closing the car door.It was a long journey to Fugi Ice Palace,Jurong,but we had fun in the car,fooling around and making fun of Fabian's 'laggy-parkinson-disease' and 'windows 98 movements'.
Reached there at around 12+ to 1pm.Had a little conflict on deciding on which 'package' entrance charge to choose,but we still decided eventually(of course we chose the cheapest one...)
I enjoyed and always will enjoy ice-skating!That was the first time that i went ice-skating and it was fun fun FUN!The only problem with me is that,embarrassing things or should I say doings always seem to dawn on me...
1st embarrassing incident:I didn't bring socks and I wasn't wearing any socks either as I wasn't wearing sports shoes!I didn't know that we had to wear socks when wearing ice skates,and the others didn't tell me...grrr!I had to waste $2.50 to buy a pair of socks at the cafe...rotten luck..=(
2nd embarrassing incident:I had no idea how to tie my skates' laces and had to get some help from Jocelyn,Fabian and YiTeng.Before that,I tangled my laces-_-
3rd embarrassing incident:Can't remember whether it was on the first or second round,I did a 'falling-stunt/dance' by accident,flinging my arms around like a fool and screaming like a mad woman,but the strange thing was,I didn't fall...
4th embarrassing incident:It was a long while since the people at the skating rink resurfaced the ice,the water on the surface of the ice made the ice super slippery.I was skating along and suddenly I tripped over the skates of the guy in front of me.I guess you would have guessed the result...I did the 'falling-stunt/dance' again and I finally fell after several failed attempts to steady myself.Fell on my knees and skidded on the ice into a 'pond'.The silly thing that I did was,I didn't stand up straight after I fell,I still remained on my knees in the 'pond',placing my gloved-hands into the 'pond' and playing with the water like a retard...unfortunately,Jocelyn saw what I was doing from behind and started laughing at me.People around gave me a weird look like I was a weird being from outer-space.Hais...Funny thing was,it was fun being wet after the fall,but I was freezing...
After 6 hours of skating,we finally left.YiTeng's parents fetched us and brought Fabian and me to Tampines mrt station.On the car ride back,YiTeng and Jocelyn kept laughing about who-knows-what and Fabian's 'laggy-parkinson-disease' and 'windows 98 movements' acted up again.I was the only normal one in the backseat=)Reached home at 7.35pm,my knees are bruised due to the fall(I have two HUGE blue-blacks on my knees)and I have blisters on my feet,but nevertheless I still had fun!

24th Nov(last Friday)-rated as the worst day of the month
Went to PRCS and a series of bad events happened there.PRSS Choir....went off tune,sang the wrong keys,forgot the lyrics of the song(guess we didn't really memorise the scores clearly) and didn't even manage to finish singing the entire piece!Don't want to elaborate on about that day...still very sad and disappointed over that incident...=( That's the worst day of the month...


25th Nov(last Saturday)
Watched Happy Feet with SC.Nice and cute movie!Mamble is such a cuteeeeeeee penguin!

Good news!Ms Lye didn't scold us!Yay!But I'm still feeling disappointed about that day...

Anne of Green Gables(by L.M. Montgomery) is a nice book!The sequels are equally nice!Must try reading it someday if you haven't,and Melissa,it's not boring!
Oh well,this day's done and there's a new one coming tomorrow,with no mistakes in it yet,so I might as well just look forward to the days coming!

Woke up at 7.45am today.Went swimming at around 9am.The swimming complex wasn't very crowded at that time.Yay!Brushed up on my swimming skills.It's been 1 year plus since I last swam.It was FUN!Wasn't very sunburnt since it's in the morning,but MY FACE IS RED!ARGH!

Went home at 12+ and had a short nap later in the afternoon...I was dead beat!

Today turned out to be quite an interesting day...
After a couple of hours of suffering from boredom and daydreaming in the afternoon,things sort of shot right up to a more interesting and eventful point.At around 3.30pm,I started to rush things at the last minute.I was supposed to meet Qiu Mei at 4.30pm at the bus stop near Temasek Poly(for your information,the concert is at Temasek Poly-_-)Hehe...=P Surprising thing was,I reached there before 4.30,oooo...I have the power to stop time.....LAME=P Met Qiu Mei. Told me that she noticed that almost all the people she saw walking by were dressed in traditional costumes(it's stated in the ticket that the dress code is traditional)At that time I noticed that both Qiu Mei and I were dressed like 'aunties' among the other 'supposed audience' who were dressed elegantly in their traditional costumes.We were like two dummies standing in the middle of the bus stop pondering over our attire when Wei Yin and Si Jie spotted us.Was convinced by their attire as they weren't wearing traditional costumes as well=)
Went into the lobby of the auditorium(air-con!ahhhhh~~~) Waited for 15mins before we were allowed in."Qiu Mei,why didnt you perform the roll-down-the-stairs trick before entering???"lol...Made a fool out of ourselve when choosing our seats.Qiu Mei and I went waaaaay to the front and Si Jie and Wei Yin was in the middle.Walked all the way up again and we kept switching seats and knocking the programmes on the arms-rest off!Qiu Mei and I were like total 'sua-kus'...hais....Waited for more than 15mins for the concert to actually start.Spent the time trying to figure out the malay words printed on the programmes and staring at the screen showing a 'family portrait' at the back of the stage.
Overall,the concert was quite nice and fun!It was funny,especially the parts where 'da-qiumei' and 'xiao-qiumei' starred in.
After the concert,there was light refreshments in the lobby.Wei Yin and Si Jie left while Qiu Mei and I decided to stay for the food.We were dead hungry!We were the only chinese there.Acted like 'sua-kus' again while 'kiap-ping' the durain and pandan tarts.Qiu Mei 'kiap-ed' the tarts till they sort of 'crushed' into bits.So violent!I 'kiap-ed' the tarts upside down and the lady queuing behind me was like looking at me with the weird expression=P
After that,Qiu Mei's parents 'tongpang-ed' me home.Yay them!Thank you so much!=) Reached home at 7+
Had a fun and culture-filled day...

Surprise,surprise!I am finally back to post!Geez...guess it's been a very long time since I posted anything...think I must be feeling guilty that's why I am back to post[woops!]Actually you can't really blame me for not posting anything for a long time,it's just that I have nothing to post about on account that I am a life-less('no life')person like what SOMEBODY said and I lead a totally boring life where my daily routine is...awww let's not elaborate,I don't want to bore you away.
Think you should have known about the Leadership camp that I just came back from since so many other blogs have mentioned it(and when i say other blogs,I mean my friends' blogs.....-_-)Yup,that camp gave me a topic to write about,at least it will save me from being nagged at to post for the time being...
1st Day...
As expected,the first day of camp is seen to be the most boring day of the week.Just like other camps,it's the same thing...assigning of groups,group name,cheers,ice-breaking games,etc etc etc....

We played wacko after the introducing part and we combined teams with Super Kachang(if I'm not wrong,that's the name of the group)Had fun during the game even though Camillie kept calling my name and I had to be the wacker twice because of her!
Later on during the day there were 2 workshops.The first one was by Ms Chia and the second by Mr Halim.Ms Chia's workshop was about planning or organising(something like that...can't remember).The activity was for us to imagine that we were crossing a river filled with pirannas and we were to cross it with purchased items such as recycled paper, leaves and others.Well,we could have easily stopped imagining but a games a game.Luck wasn't on our group's side as we were the last group to be able to purchase anything or anything useful at all and guess what?!We got ourselves a chair for 7 to cross on the imagined river which is filled with pirannas.How can you cross a river with four-jointed-legs of a chair and a plastic which is bent for sitting???Answer is simple,we used left-overs of what other groups used to cross the river. We did two activities during Mr Halim's workshop,list down the qualities of a good public speaker and talk for 1 min in front of two groups.For the 1 min talk,it's more like 1 min crap,free-talking for everyone.The guys from another Group 5 kept talking nonsense and disgusting stuff like...let's not talk about it,don't want to have you guys turning green after reading the stuff that they said.See,I am kind to have censored the part away yet evil at the same time in every way=P After the extremely boring workshop,things sort of went a little more eventful and brighter.We had some games in which there were 5 stations in total and each station concerns differrent activities in which two groups have to participate in.Water bomb....plastic balls....11-steps...traffic jam....had FUN(at last)!
At night...haiz...had the most torturing PT in the entire history of my life!So sad,distroyed the skin on my palms and knees for the pumping position.I would rather do pumping than pumping position,at least i could cheat.Mr Halim and Mr Ng made us all wait for other groups to finish running 1 round around the field while we were still at pumping position!Whatsmore,I'm in Group 10!Talk about the skin peeling off you palms...Maggie nearly couldn't take it anymore and when it was our group who's running I thought she was about to faint.Those teachers are soooo cruel,hais...but served us right for not having a 'sense of urgency'.
Dinner was horrible as well.The rice tasted like incense paper burnt during the seventh month,with the 'black stuff' in between some rice grains.I had no choice but to swallow down the rice and mark my words,it's SWALLOW.That's right I didn't even taste or bite the rice.It's too disgusting!And do you know what I did?With every bite of the incense paper rice,I took another hugh swig of my soya bean drink and shook my mouth to sort of use the drink to 'break down' the hugh chunk of incense paper rice into smaller rice particles.By using this method,I'm able to create my very own soya bean porridge.At least my method isn't as gross as the rice=)
Later we had a game of buying disassembled skateboard parts and re-fixing them with the tools and parts that we managed to buy.Our group did that pretty fast as Nikhill is a skateboard-er,but our product wasn't very stable.They chose me to sit on the skateboard as I was the lightest and roll it to the finishing point at the dark carpark.Our group won first!Yay us!!! Queued for the toilet till 11 plus but Melissa managed to occupy the whole toilet and was the 2nd to finish bathing.Must have used her usual sly way to achieve that=P Slept at about 12 plus nearing 1.Slept in between Elaine and Melissa.Shared my sleeping bag with Melissa.See,I'm kind and evil again:) But I wasn't repayed for the good deed.Instead I was KICKED!,I repeat KICKED! in capital letters and an exclamation point,by Melissa through certain periods of my sleep(if you count waking up several times during your sleep because of some DISTURBANCES as sleeping that is)....
2nd Day...
Woke up at 4.30am by my watch.I barely had any sleep.Had difficulty waking Melissa and Elaine up(Elaine is the heaviest sleeper I've ever seen,didnt even budge after shaking her vigorously sevreal times).Decided to let her continue her sleep as Melissa and I tried with failed attempts in waking her up.Found that there wasn't any saliva stain near my mouth(disgusting me..lol...)Washed up and had difficulty from keeping the kinks away from my usual after-bed messy hair...Was too tired to even bother changing into more presentable clothes(it wasn't that bad was it?pajama-like clothes aren't that disgusting,RIGHT Melissa?)Went back to the classroom and found that most of the others have woken up and Elaine still hasn't.*Guess you must be really tired.*
The days' activity or should I say 'challenge' was the Amazing Race.For the race,all the groups were further broken up to 2 groups.I ended up in Group 20,a 2 guy,1 girl group consisting of Shaun,Zhao Xuan and me.Wei Quan(xiao bai!) was our group's facilitator.Didn't even have at least a female facilitator to accompany me but I came to realise that my group wasn't that bad.That was one of the things that I learnt after the race.The race was fun despite various set-backs throughout the entire race.We practically ran all around the whole of Sentosa island to complete the tasks.My poor feet......but enjoyed getting blisters on my feet....=) Our group cooperated pretty well with one another,not counting the fact that Zhao Xuan always asked Wei Quan for breaks and free sponsered drinks(big glup!!!).I felt lonely at times due to the fact that I was the only girl in the group but I was still entertained by the others of their exaggerated version of ghost stories.Although our group didn't win(we ended up as the last few groups that reached the finishing point),I still had fun.
Had a better dinner compared to the first day.
Later at night,we set up tents at East Coast Park.I was the last one to shower.There was only one(private)shower room and I was the last in queue(not exactly,actually one girl[can't remember who]who was last,cut-queued).Glad that some friends waited for me cause they were worried that something will happen to me since it was already so late and the place was so dark.(thank you ever so much!)
That day's reflection was fun and crappish!Xiao Bai asked us questions about what we learnt after the race.Zhao Xuan kept saying that he was dehydrating and needed more food-_-I was the only one saying sensible stuff but they ended up saying "Huh?Don't understand,can you explain?"
Slept in the tent and wasn't disturbed one bit by the noise the aeroplanes made.I was really beat....
3rd Day...
Woke up early to watch the early sun rise.Was disappointed due to bad weather conditions....=( Breakfast was.....disappointing.Had PT again,this time by the SLs.Played some games.Water games,sandcastle building,rolling down the slope into seaweed-filled water and others.I AM SUNBURNT!!!!ARGH!Lunch was nice,I think.Washed up after that.Since I had extra time,I washed my shoes and socks as well.Ewwwww,my socks were filled with grime,sand,seaweed and who knows what else.It was gross! Went back to school and Miss Lim distributed the Student Trainee shirts.Mine is huge even though it's XS.After the long de-briefing,we were 'released' from camp! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Class gathering was....ok I guess... Met Melissa and Ding Yang who were late!!!Told me to be early and ended up late....
Later met Chuan Kai,Garret and Min Hui at Tanah Mera MRT station(or near there).Melissa,Ding Yang and I ran out of the train once we reached the station but still turned out late(it was only 1 min...)Actually,it should be Garret who was the latest as he forgot his Ez-link card and caused us to miss a bus.
No ez-link card=no bus=LATE!=McDonald's meal for us!(yay free treat!)
Reached Savannah at 7++pm.Very dark at that time and the statues of animals in the condo grounds are creepy.Felt tired and restless at first from the camp but was revived when the barbequing started as I was dead hungry!Maggie=satay mei,Min Hui=otah mei,Tiffany and Corrina=butter and honey 'spreader',me='flipper'(I was the only one with the tongs) The crab sticks were niceeee!Yay us!Being one of the workers at the grill had its advantages.I could reserve the nicer ones for myself=P The chicken wings were so black due to my carelessness...so sorry...
The gathering ended at 11pm.We intended to walk to East Point to take buses or trains home.On the way,I figured out a way to walk home from Savannah(clever me=) Also found out that Hanafi was also walking the same route as me.
Reached home at 11+ to 12.Home Sweet Home!Snoozed off the moment my head touched my pillow...zzzzz
